Dr. Priyanka Tayee, DDS, brings a wealth of experience and a caring approach to our Douglasville dental family. With over 10 years in dentistry spanning two continents, she combines extensive training with a genuine passion for creating healthy, beautiful smiles. After completing her initial dental degree in India, she pursued advanced training at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, making Atlanta her home in 2013.
As a lifelong learner, Dr. Tayee stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous education, holding certifications in laser dentistry, Invisalign treatment, and dental implants. She’s currently completing her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and maintains active memberships in both the American Dental Association and Georgia Dental Association. Her approach to patient care emphasizes evidence-based dentistry while focusing on each patient’s individual needs and comfort.
Dentistry runs in Dr. Tayee’s family – both her sister and brother-in-law are dentists, which helped spark her early interest in the field. “I was drawn to dentistry because it combines healthcare with artistic precision,” she shares. “Creating smiles that change people’s lives is incredibly rewarding.”
Her commitment to community shows through her volunteer work with Special Olympics, Ben Massell Dental Clinic, and mobile health ministry. She also mentors new dental school graduates, helping guide the next generation of dental professionals. Outside the office, Dr. Tayee enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, organizing community gatherings, and exploring diverse cuisines with family and friends. She particularly cherishes creative moments with her children, engaging in arts and crafts projects and sharing her passion for painting.
